PhoneHub Ghana Ltd. ("PhoneHub", "we", "us", or "our") operates the PhoneHub Ghana website and membership platform at phonehubghana.com. We are based in Accra, Ghana, and provide phone sales, repair services, and device financing (installment plans) to our members.

2Data We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services:

We do not collect payment card numbers. All MoMo transactions are processed directly through your mobile network — we only record the reference number and amount.
3How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to run your PhoneHub membership and services:

4Mobile Money Payment Data

When you choose MoMo as your installment payment method, we collect your MoMo number and network (MTN, Vodafone, or AirtelTigo) to enable our staff to initiate or verify payment collection.

We do not store your MoMo PIN or any authentication credentials. Transactions are completed directly between you and your mobile network. We only record the confirmed transaction reference, amount, and date.

Your MoMo number is used only for your installment plan payments and is never shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.
5Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (neon.tech), a cloud database platform with automatic daily backups and industry-standard security controls.

6Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

We share data only in the following limited situations:

7Data Retention

We retain your account and booking data for as long as your membership is active and for up to 2 years after your last interaction with us, for record-keeping and dispute resolution purposes.

Installment payment records are kept for 5 years in accordance with standard financial record-keeping practices.

9Cookies & Sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in during your visit. This cookie is HTTP-only (inaccessible to JavaScript), SameSite=Strict, and expires when your session times out or you log out.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking. There is no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracker on this site.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
